When can I expect my athlete to compete at Regionals?

 Level 9/10

This regional schedule cannot be determined until after national age groups have been set.  The last weekend for all 9/10s to have state meet is March 27th.  We will have the schedule as quickly the following week as we can.  We will start competition with Level 10s and then transition to Level 9s.  Our intent is always to compete from the youngest to the oldest but sometimes this is not possible due to the size of the age groups in our region.

Level 6/7/8

All Level 8 Regional athletes will compete on Saturday in two gyms. The Level 8 team session will be last session Saturday. All Level 7 Regional athletes will compete on Friday in two gyms. The Level 7 team session will be last session Friday. All Level 6 Regionals will be on Sunday in two gyms.  The Level 6 Team session will be the last session Sunday.

*Athletes will compete youngest to oldest so this may give you an idea of where your athlete will fall.

Xcel

All Xcel Gold athletes will compete on Friday in two gyms and in the first session on Saturday in one gym. We will begin with the youngest athletes and culminate with the oldest on Saturday morning.  The Xcel Gold team session will be the last session Friday.  Platinum will begin with the youngest athletes Saturday morning, continue all day Saturday and finish with the oldest athletes in the first session on Sunday.  The Platinum team session will be Saturday night. Xcel Diamond will begin in the second session on Sunday, with their team session on Sunday evening.  Xcel Sapphire will be held in Gym B during the last session Sunday evening.

When can I expect a final schedule?

Final schedules cannot be created until every state in Region 8 has their state meet.  For 2026, the last state meet for levels 6-10 is the weekend of March 27th, so we will have a level 9/10 schedule ready by April 1st.  The last weekend for Xcel state is April 1th so we will have that schedule ready by April 16th.

Hopefully the information above will help you schedule your travel plans.
