Region 8 Clubs in Good Standing

A club is in "Good Standing" if it has:

1. Hosted a Region 8 Training Camp within the last 2 years
OR
2. Sent volunteer coaches to a Region 8 Training Camp to actively work with gymnasts within the last 2 years
OR
3. Sent athletes to a Region 8 Training Camp within the last 2 years
OR
4. Made a $1,000 donation to the Regional Apparel Fund. (Prior to start of Regional Championships)

Coaches of clubs that are not in "Good Standing" must purchase coaches' apparel and wear this apparel at Easterns and JO Nationals or their state will be fined.

ALL STAR TRIP
In order to qualify for the All Star Trip a gymnast's coach/gym needs to be in good standing with the Region.
Athletes from gyms not in Good Standing are ineligible for the All Star Trip.

List of Clubs in Good Standing is HERE.   If you still need to get your club on the Good Standing list, you can still make a $1,000.00 donation to the Region 8 Apparel Fund.

If you volunteered or had athletes attend a training camp in 2015 or 2016 and you are not on the Good Standing list please contact Deb.

Gymnastics Instructor/Team Coach (Grant Park)
 

Employment type: part-time
We are a fun-loving, high quality, community oriented gym located in historic Grant Park, Atlanta's best known intown neighborhood. InTown Stars Gymnastics is the fastest growing USAG member club in Atlanta, and we are expanding. Our recreation and competitive programs are at full capacity and we are hiring for boys' and girls' classes that will begin this Fall 2016.
 


We are looking for USAG level 3-7 coaches, Xcel Silver and Xcel Gold Coaches, and rec class instructors as well.
We have reliable, enthusiastic and committed instructors who are dedicated to a child's learning, and high quality, effective coaching that is grounded in our strict philosophy of kindness and firmness. If you believe you have these traits, please email your resume and a brief cover letter. .

These positions are year-round, part-time 10-30 hours per week, requiring evening and weekend hours. Hourly rates are competitive and based on experience. All positions have tremendous capacity for growth and advancement, as our gym is growing exponentially each year.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. 2 or more year of experience as a gymnastics instructor or coach - you must be able to teach/coach a class upon hiring.
2. Great energy and enthusiasm about gymnastics
3. Reliable transportation
4. Professional, mature and reliable
